Robyn Bardas is a painter who has lived, worked and exhibited from Wanaka, New Zealand sonce 1997. She has been showing ongoing iterations of her landscape series around the South Island most recently at the Millenium Public Art Gallery, Blenheim; Eatern Southland Gallery, Gore, Forrester Gallery, Oamaru and Central Stories, Alexandra.
The images are based in a post-colonial, industrialised natural landscape in Central Otago and Southland.
Robyn gained her BA in Fine Art in Melbourne RMITin 1989 and completed her Masters in Fine Art at Dunedin School of Art in 2016 where she won the Dean's drawing prize.
