Location: Level 1, 85 Beach Street, Queenstown.
Region: Queenstown
Dates: Thu, 4 February 2021 - Sun, 28 February 2021 @ Wed-Sun, 12noon - 6pm
Broker, a new contemporary art gallery in Queenstown, is launching Thursday, February 4.
Queenstown photographer Sarah Bultitude is leading the way as the gallery’s inaugural exhibiting artist, presenting her solo show, “Conceal”, a brand new body of stunning photographic works. Bultitude’s unique and exceptionally presented photographs will fill the new space, creating a hauntingly beautiful atmosphere.
Broker is the latest project by local artist Marc Blake, who also founded and directed Queenstown Contemporary, the largest artist-run space in the country. Broker occupies a small ground floor space at 85 Beach Street, beneath Mountain Club. A way for Blake and the gallery artists to focus on presenting a new approach to contemporary art and exhibitions in Queenstown, Broker will help manage selected artists and their careers, as well as offering a range of works from private collections.
The opening night function and solo exhibition by Sarah Bultitude is an open invitation for all to attend. It begins Thursday 4th of February at 5:30pm.
The gallery is located on Level 1, 85 Beach Street, Queenstown and is open to the public Wednesday to Sunday, 12noon - 6pm.
