Blossom Festival - Garden Tour, Gardeners Market and Demonstrations.
Region: Alexandra
Dates: Sun, 23 September 2018 @ 10am - 5pm
You never know what plant treasures you see and find when gates are opened and you tour down garden paths.
8 Gardens in and around Alexandra will delight attendees of the 2018 Blossom Festival Garden Tours.
From established country gardens to newly created marvels these gardens have something for everyone, from the keen gardener to the budding beginner.
Gardeners Market
This will be held at The Orchard Garden, Dunstan Road, Alexandra and this year will be situated at the front left of the property. Please park where indicated and look for the signs and white balloons which lead to the market. The market opens at 10am and closes at 5pm.
Wild Willow Ball Demonstrations
We are delighted to have Suzie Smith from Cromwell demonstrating the art of willow ball making at this year’s Gardeners Market. These balls are lovely with fairy lights in them or just left to age gracefully they make a lovely feature in the garden, on the lawn or patio. Suzie holds classes in Cromwell so if you are inspired by the demonstration you may want to book a place in one of her workshops for 2019.
Demonstration times: 10.30am, 1.30pm, 3.30pm.
Devonshire Teas
Available at The Orchard Garden all day 10am to 5pm.
Tickets and Garden Tour Brochures are available from outside the Alexandra iSite from 9am on the morning of the event. Garden Tour tickets are $20.
