This years line up includes the following...
Saturday 10.30 am to 4.00pm
Performances will be held at the Royal Hotel, the Ancient Britton and the Black Forest Cafe in Naseby.
These performances will be by booked artists, NB; there may be times when walk-ups can be involved as well.
Saturday 7.00pm to 11.00pm Dinner and Show at the Naseby Lodge.
The show will highlight the guest performers from the weekend and a special guest - Australian Bush Poet Mr Barney Foran. Barney resided in New Zealand for two years in the early 90s and lived in Alexandra, he was responsible for starting an awareness of bush poetry at the Cardrona Folk Festival and as a result there has been a very strong interest in this form of spoken word since then by many South Island performers, many of whom will be performing during the weekend.
Ticket prices are $60.00 per person for a set meal and show. Bookings are essential. To book contact Adrian at the Ancient Briton Hotel. (03) 4449992.
Sunday will be a day of farewells with the possibility of some casual performances by people who would like to. It will be a relaxed day as the festival officially finishes on Saturday night.
There will be twelve artists performing throughout the weekend including Graham Wardrop, Barney Foran, Paul Bond, Roger Lusby, Steve Barkman, Adrian Higgins, Kay & Read Hudson, Barrie McDonald, Keith Scott, Martin Curtis and Jillian Sullivan.
