Festival Artist Performances Overview
Six intertwined programmes, thirty-one musical works, each charting a waypoint along our exploration into the roles that solitude and togetherness play in the creative process. Spanning two weekends this October, experience captivating live music events in Wānaka, Cromwell, and Queenstown with the best of chamber music in New Zealand.
With the first steps of the journey taking place in Wānaka, the At the World’s Edge Festival schedule begins with the Bloom my heart and Tranquil Bay programmes on 8 - 9 October. From there, Nine Seas Away presents our Emerging Artists side-by-side with our Festival Artists in a mid-week Queenstown performance.
Sei Solo follows in Cromwell, offering intimate solo and duo performances matched with fine wine and food throughout the evening at the Cloudy Bay Shed. Finally, the Festival Programmes culminate with Free But Lonely and Into the Night concluding the journey in Queenstown the following weekend, 15 - 16 October.
In conjunction with our Festival Performances, the AWE Festival also includes a series of free community events and chamber music concerts in Queenstown.
