This year's New Release is being held in the spacious park-like grounds of Clyde's Historic Railway Station Reserve (13 Fraser Street, Clyde) on the Sunday of Labour weekend. Please Note: NRT change of venue due to the Olivers grounds being under repair from the Clyde Project infrastructure upgrades. Olivers accommodation, restaurant and café will still be open!
For our New Release Wine Tasting, guests pay a nominal fee which includes entry to the event , a tasting glass and booklet which references the vineyards and the wines available to taste - plus special buying privileges on the day at a discounted event rate.
The Alexandra Basin Winegrowers would love to have you join us for our annual New Release Tasting 2022!
The unique and beautiful Alexandra Basin in Central Otago is home to over 25 vineyards, each producing award winning quality wines whilst working harmoniously with the terroir and the elements.
Enjoy meeting the vineyard owners, chatting with the winemakers and of course be the first to sample the New Release wines on offer all whilst enjoying the complementary cheese, crackers & condiments and live music.
This year, in association with Eat.Taste.Central there will be a selection of local, gourmet pies available to purchase made from the best Central Otago produce. Create your own food and wine match!
Take home bottle sales are available.
Ticket’s $30.00 each, there are no extra charges for wine tasting
