Alexandra Basin Wine Growers - New Release Tasting.
Location: Olivers Restaurant and Bar, Clyde.
Region: Clyde
Dates: Sun, 27 October 2019 @ 1pm - 4pm
For over Ten years the Alexandra Basin Wine Growers have been showcasing their New Release Wine’s on Labour Weekend Sunday at Olivers Gardens in Clyde, Central Otago.
Grapes grown in the unique Alexandra Basin climate survive New Zealand’s Hottest, Driest Summers and Coldest Winters which produce fantastic Wines!
This unique New Release Tasting allows you to meet the vineyard owners, chat with the winemakers and of course sample wines from over 20 vineyards…all whilst enjoying the complementary cheese & crackers and live music within the tranquil gardens of historic Olivers, Clyde.
This year we are very excited to have Emma Jenkins – New Zealand’s 9th Master of Wine as our Guest Speaker.
Emma is a wine columnist, co-editor and wine consultant as well as being the Research paper Co-ordinator for MW education programme, teaching WSET courses and Judging both locally and internationally.
Tickets available from Alexandra ISite or online at www.centralotagonz.ibisnz.com. Tickets are limited and do sell out, don't miss out.
Note: the ticket price covers the cost of tastings ie: no extra charges for wine tasting!
Guests also receive a free tasting glass and booklet with information about each vineyard and the wine they are presenting. Also complementary cheese and crackers, live music, seating and presentation's by our special guest Emma Jenkins. This a pleasurable - not to be missed - event!
