Celebrating Ranfurly’s place on the iconic Otago Central Rail Trail, this contemporary work by skilled Mosgiel-based metal sculptor Brad Jackson captures the freedom, adventure, and community spirit of cycle touring.

Installed in 2025 outside the historic Art Deco Gallery at 1 Charlemont Street, the work acknowledges the thousands of riders who pass through the town each year, while complementing Ranfurly’s distinctive heritage streetscape. Blending public art with local identity, the sculpture reflects the enduring connection between landscape, recreation, and the people who experience Central Otago on two wheels.
