Artist Andi Regan is thrilled to be amoung six World of Wearable Art designers chosen to display their work at the annual Vivid Sydney Light and Entertainment Festival. Her work 'Kahu Kereru' was inspired by the New Zealand wood pigeon and is created entirely from hand dyed cable ties.

Regan, originally from the U.K, has been living in New Zealand since 2008 and currently resides in Wanaka. Her works are exhibited at selected galleries and design stores around New Zealand. She is also a member of the Hullabaloo Artsist Collective in the Heritage Precinct in Cromwell.

Regan says "I feel honoured and excited to be part of such an iconic event. I am a huge fan of light sculptures and installations. I love the qualities that light, colour and shadow bring together, something which is often reflected in my own artwork."

The festival runs from May the 25th through to the 16th of June in Sydney and is a multi-award winning celebration of light, music and innovative artistic, tech, design and cultural ideas.
