Festival of Colour - Ensemble Paladino

It has been the custom for the triennial Wanaka based Festival of Colour to bring a small part of the festival our way.
This time it’s a midday hour long chamber music performance by the Ensemble Paladino at the Coronation Hall, Bannockburn this Wednesday 5 April.
Flutist Eric Lamb founded the Ensemble in 2013 and in just four years the group has established itself as a musical force in Central Europe and beyond.
Eric Lamb is joined in this concert by Austrian cellist, Martin Rummel, who between his international performances is Head of the School of Music at the Auckland University, Simone Roggen, lead violinist with the Faust Quartet and James Tibbles (harpsichord and forte piano) the head of early music at Auckland University.
A little known fact is James Tibbles was born in Ranfurly!
The Bannockburn programme will focus on Mozart.
