Following his hugely successful NZ concerts in 2015 and 2016, (one of which was here in Arrowtown), Ben returns in 2017 with a glittering line - up.
This time the band will feature not only Ben's amazing son Tom on alto sax, but also Tim Ries of the Rolling Stones who gave Tom his first instrument. Adding to the Rolling Stones connection will be the legendary singer Bernard Fowler who for a long time has been the Rolling Stones backing vocalist.
On top of all this we will be welcoming the extremely talented singer/songwriter Chris Jagger, (Mick's younger brother) on guitar and vocals. Ben will be bringing his own drummer Ardie from the UK and we will be fortunate to have the extraordinarily talented Mike Story from the Christchurch Jazz School on bass returning to Akaroa.
Finally as with the previous gigs Ben has performed here, proceeds from the evening will be given to a wonderful local charity: The Queenstown Trails Trust
