Lauraine Jacobs' 'Always Delicious' book launch at Olivers.

Come and celebrate the launch of Lauraine Jacobs' beautiful new book, Always Delicious. Join Lauraine and Fleur Sullivan in conversation at Olivers, as these two champions of small artisan producers, regional specialty foods and lovers of simply presented, local fresh food, discuss the cuisine scene - and more. Limited tickets.
Lauraine is a Past President of the NZ Guild of Food Writers and is currently the Food Columnist for the NZ Listener. She is an internationally respected food and wine writer and author/editor of nine cookbooks and one travel book. Always Delicious is a compilation of her favourite recipes from the NZ Listener.
Lauraine trained at the London Cordon Bleu School and was subsequently the food editor of both Fashion Quarterly and Cuisine magazines. She has won many food and recipe writing awards including two Gold Ladles at the World Food Media Awards. She spent eight years on the Board of Directors of the USA-based International Association of Culinary Professionals and was a member of the NZ Government Food and Beverage Taskforce. Lauraine was very proud to accept an MNZM in the Queens Birthday Honours List in 2009.
Her dream is to see New Zealand become an internationally recognised food tourism destination. She is a wonderful speaker and you will be guaranteed a sparkling event.
Tickets available from Olivers - $25.00. Proceeds will go toward Christmas food parcels for local needy families.
