Annual Photography Conference
- Education, education, education – Educate yourself and your business! Where else do you get over 10 speakers, 14 sessions, over two jam-packed days?
- Inspire you to think outside the box, for new ways to hone your skills, develop business tools and hear what is fresh and new in the industry.
- Connect with local suppliers of products and services you use in your business every day Speak with new photographers starting out, as well as photographers who remember the smells of developer and fix, everyone has something to learn and offer
- Did we mention the networking (not mentioning the hang-overs!)…. The opportunity to view, analyze and critique the Iris award entries up close, as they were printed by the photographer
- Your morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea is served to you daily – who doesn’t appreciate that!
- Learn more of about NZIPP and what it has to offer
- Have you read about the Hub yet? If not, we suggest you do, where else do you get the opportunity, not only to listen to the greats in our industry, but have one-on-one time with speakers?
- Lastly, Queenstown….. New Zealand’s very own playground
For me the best thing about attending Infocus is the chance to touch base with other photographers through out the country. These “conversations around the water-cooler” are invaluable in an industry that is made up of mostly one-man bands, and provide a much needed chance to connect with other professionals within the photographic industry. Each year my photography circle of friends grows a little wider, and it’s always a lot of fun catching up with them each year.
