Artistry and inspiration abound at Mrs Woolly’s first-of-the-season Great Glenorchy Getaway Days!
See, talk with, and buy directly from Central Otago’s finest artists.

9:00 am: Artist pop-up galleries and market stalls open

- Woodworking, stone carving, jewellery, beading, landscape painting, abstract painting, photography, graphite portraits, stone carving, willow wreaths, possum fur creations, handmade baby gear and more
- “Fresh and Yummy” vege stall - ripe and spray-free from the North Island
- Beautifully-curated, locally-made raw foods, cheeses, and preserves
- Mrs Woolly’s hot-off-the-grill BBQ Brunch Buns served all day; marinated chicken Kiddie Kebabs from 11am – 2pm

A day filled with inspiring workshops for families and all ages!
10:00am: Hand-carved wood implements with Wanaka carver Simon King
12:00pm: Stone mosaic stepping stones with international landscape and stone mosaic artist, and Camp Glenorchy artist-in-residence Jeffrey Bale
3:00pm: Willow wreaths and dreamcatchers with Nicole Schofield

Camp Glenorchy “sneak peek” tours at 11am, 1pm and 3pm
- Come explore the completed Scheelite Campfire Shelter and the South Island’s largest Solar Garden
- Check out progress on the gathering, cooking and dining spaces under construction at the Commons Building
- Discover how cosy the year-round cabins will be with a tour of the first fully-fitted guest room
  
4:30pm: Foot-tappin’ live music by Dunedin’s four-piece Valley Bluegrass Band
- Tasty whitebait fritters and Shepherd’s Pie served
- Wines from Chard Farms, beer by Altitude Brewery and non-alcoholic beverages available
