Cinderella Meets the Mother in Law By Judith Prior. In arrangement with David Spicer Productions Pty Ltd.

Prince Charming and Cinderella arrive back at the palace after their fairy-tale wedding to find that Prince Charming’s mother, Queen Imelda, who has a shoe fetish, has confiscated the magic slippers. Cinderella demands the return of the shoes, but her husband, Prince Charming, is controlled by and in awe of his mother. So, until her husband learns to support her, stand up to his mother and get the magic shoes back, Cinderella elects to live in the servant’s quarters. Some of the Queen’s expensive shoe collection goes missing and Cinderella is accused of stealing them. When the Ugly Sisters become involved, the plot takes some unsuspected twists and turns.
A must see, performed by a local Central Otago Cast including a number of OSTA award winners and nominees.
