A dynamic programme of films that pay tribute to the rich heritage of the Otago and Southland regions.

Pacific Magazine 12, 1955, 12mins. Produced by John Shea of Pacific Films, the Magazines were short sponsored news items on topical events. They were shown regularly in New Zealand cinemas before the main feature.

Seeds from Central; An agricultural item on seed production showing a factory, industrial machinery, women bagging seed, seed being inspected by government officials, transportation and sale. Set in Cromwell.

MCC vs NZ Last Test; The English cricket team play New Zealand at Eden Park, Auckland. New Zealand are all out for 26!

Roxburgh Hydro; a British immigrant family arrive in New Zealand to work on the Roxburgh Hydro Power Project. Shows the dam being built and the hydro settlement, both the houses and school.

Personal Record. Robins, Tainui. Cars to Carrington 1938, 39, 40. 16mins. These 16mm films were made by Tainui Robins (1902 - 1989) who was a member of the Canterbury Mountaineering Club, NZ Alpine Club and Canterbury Winter Sports Club. The films were screened to members and at public lectures. Mr Robins accompanied the film screenings with a dry and witty commentary.

Dagg Day Afternoon, 1977, 40mins. "It's a good day for it, so Fred Dagg and the Trevors go on a secret mission in search of the missing bionic sheep." Dagg Day was produced by Acme Sausage Company, Endeavour and Dagg Day Films.
